This week, we’re breaking from our typical, insightful articles to tell you about something we’ve begun cooking up at Muze. It’s something that will help us get to know you better, while also helping you develop a better understanding of your musical aspirations.
We’re developing a quick, 10-minute survey that is geared toward helping you identify the skills, creative goals, and personality traits that you bring to the table when starting a new project. This survey will give you some important takeaways, as you sharpen your focus and use Muze to find like-minded collaborators.
We expect to have the survey ready for you within the next few weeks. However, we’re also telling you about this because we need your help bringing it to completion.
With that, we have a question: in your opinion, what is one question every artist should ask themselves before beginning a new musical or creative endeavor?
It’s open-ended, so your answer can pertain to any part of the creative process. Perhaps there’s a certain level of skill you believe one should attain before embarking on a new project. Maybe it’s something deeper than that, like understanding one’s values and how those translate through the artist’s preferred medium of creativity. Perhaps it’s something different entirely. Whatever it is, we’re confident that your input will make this survey even better.
The floor is now yours: head to the comments and let us know what you think. Your question just might find its way into the survey when it’s published.
