A professional profile photo.
If you’re offering a professional service, your profile photo is the first impression many of your fellow Muze Pro users will have of you. Make sure it aids your presentation with good lighting and clear imagery. If you don’t have any professional headshots, you can always hire one of the professionals on Muze to help you look your best!
Be as specific about your offerings as possible.
What types of services do you offer? What genres do you serve? Is service limited to a location, or available from anywhere remotely? Are there add-ons that clients can include for an additional fee? What is your refund policy*? When are you typically available? Your Pro Muze profile gives you the opportunity to answer all of those questions and more. Make sure you answer completely!
- *NOTE: whenever there is a dispute, Muze will refer first and foremost to your refund policy stated on your offering.
Be sure to share your accolades.
Have you worked with any major clients or partners? Have you received any awards or recognition for your work? Do you have any certifications or credentials? Be sure to enter your Work and Education history in your settings page to establish more credibility. Use your Bio and Service Information to let prospects know what sets you apart from the pack.
Include multimedia assets.
Your Muze Offering allows you to upload photos (JPG, JPEG, PNG, or HEIF files), videos (via YouTube), and PDF files to give prospects a taste of what it’s like working with you. If you’re a visual artist, it is a must to include portfolio pieces and work samples. If you manage a studio, use this space share some content from the creative process. Help your future clients envision their collaborations with you!
Be transparent about your pricing.
Any prospective client is going to have a certain budget to obtain your services. Your Muze Service Offering gives you the opportunity to present your pricing up front, including hourly, monthly, and flat-rate services, to help you and the client easily identify if you’re on the same page.
Ask for reviews from your past clients.

On Muze, you can receive reviews both from jobs you complete on the platform, or by going to your published offering and clicking on Ask for Reviews (pictured above). From there, you can import email contacts and ask your previous clients or colleagues for a review on the platform, along with sharing via Facebook, Twitter, or Whatsapp (pictured below):
