How To Connect Your Stripe Account

Today marks a significant milestone for Muze as we have officially launched the new Stripe onboarding process for our music industry pros across Muze. This update is now live, and we are excited to welcome you to a more streamlined, efficient, and user-friendly experience.

What’s New?

  • Simplified Seller Onboarding: We’ve made it easier than ever for new pros to join your Muze, removing barriers and reducing the steps required to get started.
  • Enhanced User Experience: With a focus on simplicity and efficiency, the new process is designed to help pros quickly move from sign-up to their first booking.
  • Future-Ready: This update aligns with the latest advancements in payment processing and compliance, ensuring your transactions on Muze remains secure.

Step 1: Fill Out Your Address

If you haven’t already logged in, login to your account.

Find your address tab under your Dashboard > Settings > Addresses or navigate here.

Stripe requires that you have a valid address to comply with US law. It is important that this address is filled out and saved before moving to the next step.

You can read more about the address requirements here.

Step 2: Unpause Any Listings

In order to show your Cashout tab, you will need to have unpaused listings on our site. You can unpause them here.

Once your listing is unpaused, a notification will be sent to our admin team to vet and approve your listing. You can expedite this process by reaching out to support@muzeofficial.com

Step 3: Fill out Cashout Information

Once you have an approved listing, you will are classified as a professional (or “seller”) on Muze. The Cashout tab will appear, where you can directly enter your information to Stripe to get paid out from customers.

Please note that all information entered in this tab processed solely by Stripe and is handled off of the Muze platform. We will be unable to assist with any data entered on this tab.

You will need to fill out the following information:

  1. Legal Name: Your legal name as it shows on official US paperwork.
  2. Merchant Category: This should match what you have set on your Stripe account, but here is a guide to help you if you are unsure*:
