Did you know that Muze now has an entire marketplace for music industry professionals like you to offer your services?
Whether you are a musician offering your talents for live performance or session work, or an industry professional offering a variety of creative services, Muze now presents an opportunity for you to present offerings and connect with new clients.
Today, I’m going to walk you through how to create an offering, step-by-step, and start generating more business today!
P.S.: Check out our new article, where we walk you through the steps to hire your fellow creatives on Muze.
Before we start: Who is eligible to post an offering?
Any vetted music industry professional who offers a for-hire service is eligible to post an offering on the Muze marketplace. There is room for just about anything music industry-related, from session work, production, and lessons, to creative services like photography, videography, and graphic design. No matter your offering, you have the opportunity to find quality clients within the Muze network.
Step 1: Sign up for Muze
This one is self-explanatory. If you haven’t already, head to pro.muzeofficial.com and register an account. It’s fast, easy, and free.

Step 2: Click the ‘My Offerings’ tab.
There, you will see any current offerings that you’ve created. If you haven’t created any yet, that’s fine. That’s what we created this guide for!

Step 3: Start with the basics
Let people know what your offering entails! Give it a name, select a category (because I’m an artist coach, I chose the Teachers/Coaches category), and include a short description. Note that the description is limited to 500 characters.
Then, you’ll name your prices! Currently you can offer a flat fee service, an hourly rate (most common), or monthly rate (less common). You’ll enter these before uploading/linking any relevant multimedia assets.
Please note: You’ll want to account for a 10% fee included in each transaction. We are upfront about what price will show to your client and what rate you will receive.

Now it’s time for your media!
All offerings are required to have at least one image uploaded. This is what will show on our Browse Pros page, so I recommend that you make your first image professional, easy to read (if you need text), and viewable on a mobile device. You can upload either JPG, JPEG, PNG, or HEIF files.
For audio and video, you will need to upload in the form of YouTube videos. While you currently cannot directly upload audio, the ability to include YouTube links proves more engaging.
Read more tips here.

Please note: if you are a Visual Artist, you must include examples of your work in order to be verified.
Step 4: Customize your offering.
Here, you can select the language(s) in which you are fluent, as well as the musical genres and specialties relevant to your offering. If you have a PDF file (like a one-sheet) that is relevant to your offering, feel free to attach it here, as well!
Important note: if there are any disputes with jobs hired through your offering, we will refer to your policy stated in your Refund policy below:

Step 5: Set your availability, get paid, and offer your services!
If there are specific days and times on which you are available to provide your service, be sure to include those here. You can also include any days/times when you are not available, to avoid scheduling conflicts like holidays.
Once you’ve done that, the only thing left to do is connect your offering to a Stripe account to ensure that you get paid. If you do not yet have a Stripe account, you’ll need to set one up, which you can do here.

Once you’ve done that, hit Publish. The Muze team will begin the verification process ASAP and your offering will be live for the world to see!

Easy enough, right? The only thing left for you to do now is sign up for Muze, follow this guide, and start earning!
